AWS Alien Attack is multi-player game built on AWS. It is also an event source in need of a serverless back-end for real-time data processing. In this hands-on workshop, you will troubleshoot and develop new features to ingest, process and analyse data using serverless services including Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon DyanmoDB, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, and Amazon Cognito.

This is a Level 200/300 workshop so some basic knowledge on cloud computing is assumed. We will kick-off the session with a briefing on the services you will encounter and there will be plenty of volunteer Solutions Architects in attendance to assist. For those already familiar with serverless services and architectures on AWS, there are extension modules available to keep you engaged.

Resources

It is a hands-on workshop so you will need your own laptop. Other than a browser, there are no software requirements.

Time and Place

Please arrive a few minutes early for signing in.
