re:Invent is the biggest event in the AWS calendar but couldn't happen much farther away from us. Luckily, user group members that did attend have volunteered to share their experience with us. A number of them have also volunteered lightning talks.
Unlike similar events that will be run by local Amazonians in the coming weeks, this event will not attempt to cover every announcement made at re:Invent. Instead, we'll go into lightning talk depth in a number of areas and leave time for all attendees to highlight particular announcements of relevance to them.
